    Hi,

I have a little problem, it seems that my dvd-rom won't play dvds anymore. Apparently it happens only with new dvds. I have a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1402. When I want to play a dvd with Power dvd I get the following message :

ESDI driver or ASPI manager is not compatible.
For controlling DVD-ROM, two system drivers will be used, that is, ESDI driver and ASPI manager. Older versions of ESDI driver have compatibility problem with DVD-ROM. ASPI manager might be replaced by an incompatible version if you install a SCSI device.

I've tried with other programs and nothing seems to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Valerie

  2. You might have installed a player or burner that *%&(¤# up your ASPI.
Uninstall everythingyou don't use and stick to one or two players and one or two burners.
Then reinstall your Toshiba! ...might work.
