when i try to input the video sorce as a d2v file i get the message cannot open or not supported , does anyone know hwy this is happening ?

I presume you made this d2v file with DVD2AVI. If so, did you delete or change the orignal VOB's, avi's etc. in any way afterwards? If so, put them where they were before.
If this isn't your problem, make sure you downloaded and installed correctly the VFAPI plugin for TMPGEnc correctly. -
i had moved the vob filies into another folder , moved them back now it works fine thanks

this happened to em too. i moved them back into the original folder but nothing got fixed? still won't work properly. any other suggestions?

Make sure you have correctly installed the VFAPI plugin for TMPGEnc. If your files are in the correct place, try creating another d2v file now.
