Lets say that I have produced the best video ever made on by computerand I want to burn it on to a CD-R.
Can I just take the video file (be it in any form except for a true DVD) and burn it on to a CD-R using my Philips CCD 3610 and Adaptec Easy CD Creator 3.5 software that came with it?
In reading this website it seems the answer is no, but, I want to hear from the gurus.
And if not why?

Although I am not i guru, here is an answer. You can burn every video file to a CD-R and play it on comp.
Or you can convert it to MPEG, burn it to a CD-R and play it on a standalone dvd player.
The MPEG file must (S)VCD compliant, your player must be able to play (S)VCD and CD-R/RW. -
Thank You For Your Reply.
I Will Take Your Answer to my How To Burn a Video CD in Mind.
I hope (or should that be ass-ume) that it would be easier when I get ATI All in Wonder card/software.
That is if these surprize debts that I been hit with in the last 2 weeks ever end -
