I have a lot of Avi, Mpeg files that I want to write on DVDs.
I have different programs. Nero 8 and 9, Ashampoo 9, NTI, and few more.
I used to have very good experience using Taiyo Yuden. The last batch I have written have been so/so. I have had 20 to 30 percent damaged, unreadable DVD created using Taiyo Yunden.
Now I am trying to find the best combination of software and media to use. I have a Samsung burner (Average).
What is the best software to use. please keep in mind, I can prepare my VOB using TMPGEnc Authoring or other programs. So I need to know what is the best program to use, in order not to have unreadable DVD.
What media is the best?
What DL media is the best?
I would appreciate any response,
And thanks in advance for any response
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

First of thanks for responses
I also have not had a very good experience with Nero since nero 7.
I have read (in this forum) a lot of good things about Verbatim DL, but abouth 3 months ago I bought a 15 pack and 10 of them turned to coasters. So I do not know ..... -
Ok, I am sold on Verbatim +R Dl, but there are few kinds

Speed is not important to me and neither is the ability to print on the cover.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. -

And, I haven't done a bunch of DL burning, and I think what I have at home is the 2.4X speed (I bought them several years ago). You might want to check the ImgBurn forums (http://forum.imgburn.com/) and search for your particular burner to see what might be recommended.
Hope that helps,
