  1. I am trying to make a burn my movies using Ulead DVD Movie Factory and am having trouble. The whole process seems to work fine except when I look at the files in the finished CD, they read as audio files and the are called "track1.cda"..etc. I know i didnt choose to burn an audio CD and i have had success burning vcds with Nero. Also after i installed(i dont know if this is related) i noticed that my computer says i have three CD drives, which i only really have 2. I hope someone has had similar problems or maybe they can help. THanks.

are you sure you are selecting the vcd option in movie factory? try again! and tell us the exact options you are selecting. as for the third drive, this happened to me with nero as well. this third drive seems to be for cd images.it's no big deal.

  3. I first open it, choose "Author Menu". I choose "SVCD". I add my two mpeg files. I know these are good files because i use them when i burn from nero or vcdeasy. I then click the "Next" button. (I make no other changes to the page...the "Choose Scene Selection Menu" checkbox is checked) The next page is the preview page. The "add introduction" box is unchecked. The "locate scene frames" box is checked. Next i choose my scenes. After that i choose my Menu template, background image, and background music. Then is the preview screen, where when i play it, it works, meaning there are menus and the movie can be played. Next i choose my writer drive, set it for 2X speed, the "perform test" box is unchecked, and the advanced SVCD option is on SVCD Standard Compliant, but ive tried both options. I dont create a disk image and begin burning. I will respond how this one came out, but ive tried many times with same result as described in my first post.
