I copied some VHS tapes to DVD using my PANASONIC DMR-E50P DVD player/recorder (years ago - tapes long gone). I've been able to play them on the same DVD machine, but never any others or computers. I never finalized them, as I have now learned is required. However the same machine I used to make them now doesn't read any of the DVD's anymore. Is there a way to get the videos finalized using software? Or should I invest in repairing this machine or finding another same model and try that way?
