    I have no problem downloading mp3 and making a Cd.
    but how do i get the index on the cd with the artust and track info?

    now the other ?? how do i take off some track from a commercial audio cd and make them into mp3 withut loosing any quality so I can use it on my portable mp3 player

    I think your talking about CD-Text if your writer supports it, you can add track information , Abum etc in most burn software like Nero.

    Download www.goldwave.com (With MP3 plug-ins) it rips music tracks with ease.
