I'm really new at this, so pardon me if it's been covered (as I'm sure it has).
Got Sony 5 and there's a scene in a .vob file I need to cut out and put onto a separate DVD. How do I do it? The 'cut and paste' doesn't seem as intuitive as I wouldhave thought.
Thanks for your help and patience with newby queries like this.

The simplest method is to open the DVD structure in DVD Shrink, click on Re-Author, drag the title from right to left, right-click on the title and choose Set Start and End Points. Isolate the section you want, then click Backup to create a new DVD with just that section in it.

If you want to try it in Architect then the best you can do is open the title and use the Set In and Out Points to isolate the section you want.

Gunslinger, thanks a million - I just did it and it was EASY. Thanks a lot. Not too much of a newbie any more, but this isn't as easy as recording music. Thanks bud.
