    How many times can you "reuse" a DV cassette. Is there degredation of quality after recording over old media?

    You will not loose quality recording over them the only thing that might happen is that you will get a frame dropout. the video is digital so there is no quailty issue. How many times you can record over i can't tell you. I have a few that i have at least 6 times and they are still ok.
