    i got my sons old pc an amd dual 2100 with vista with mce. it has a nvtv single card i don't have any manuals or cables. i want to convert from vhs to dvd. my old pc had an ati card and it worked fine. tried s video cable and audio from sima box but don't know how to get to it.

    any and all help welcome

    The S-Video connectors should allow video input. However, you will need software to view/record the video inputs.

    If you know the manufacturer of the card, you can likely download the manual on their website.

    its a nvidia nvtv card and i downloaded and installed the driver..

    The chipset is nVidia, but that chipset was used by multiple manufacturers.

    The drivers are likely working just fine, but you need software to view the inputs and perform recording. It is likely already on the PC. But if you find the card manufacturer, you can likely go to their website and download it.
