Hi I have an issue. When I copy a DVD and it is done it tells you to put in a recordable disk. I put the blank disk in the drive and it shows it burning to disk. But for some reason when I put it into my DVD player it says the disk is not a playable disk? Really weird? I have the audio / visual folders and I am going to see if I can use IMGburn to make an image and put it on disk and see if that works. Any response would be great! Thanks....

It's not an uncommon result. If the burner is defective, or you are using less-than-ideal media, you can get exactly the behavior you describe. Verbatim and Taiyo-Yuden discs are mentioned most often in the positive on this forum. If you are using bargain-brand discs, then expect trouble. Such discs may appear to burn ok, but they may be readable on relatively few drives, and may further degrade over time.

this could be true they are "staples" brand disks 4.7 GB but this just started happening. Guess I'll try a different brand and see if it still happens. Thank you.....

See if you can burn a good brand of disc. That's about the only way to be sure. If it can't burn a good one, chances are high that your burner is kaput.
