i noticed that Nero burns an SVCD slightly differently from the other programs described in the guides. it doesn't use the .cue or .bin files that DVD2SVCD creates. instead, i drag the mpeg2 file directly into the CD folder and Nero burns the SVCD right away (btw, i don't get a .dat file like a VCD, the movie file still has a .mpg extension. is this right?). Nero also doesn't seem to like audio that hasn't been downsampled to 44.1. i get a warning prompt about the audio and have to select the "ignore and continue burning" option to proceed. i use Nero because i don't have any of the other programs. should i have them? just curious. and what's the difference with the other programs that use the .cue and .bin files to create an SVCD instead of the mpeg2 file?
