I'm interested in this... very, very interested in this. However, I am confused about one particular thing. Is it just for capturing, or can you "watch" things live on your PC with it? Because, really, I'm not at all interested in saving video, I simply just want to play my PS3/360/Wii in 480p/720p or whatever on my PC, as my monitor is 16:10, and if anything 16:9 is fed into it, it stretches it.. and a capture device of some kind is about my only option.. well.. outside of getting a TV. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can watch any component video source with the included software (or third part software) at the correct aspect ratio. But, as with most such devices, the video is delayed by several frames. You can't play games this way.

If you want to use a non HDTV LCD monitor with the current consoles, you should look into something like this:

I have it and there is no lag (Or none that I notice). I even use it with the Hauppauge HD-PVR when I need to record footage. Works great. -
Wow... I'm very interested in that... does it support 16:10 resolutions without stretching it? Do you know? If so.. wow.. I could REALLY use that.
