  1. Hi, i already convert an avi file to mpeg1 with subtitles, but when i burn to vcd (ntsc 352*240) the subtitles are totally missing at the botton of the screen.
i try to fix that with the advance setting video arrange method but the subtitles still are out of ratio, pls if anybody know the perfect configuration in order to see or move the position screen in the right place, i already lost 5 cds.
thxx for your help and congratulations for this great forum, very helpfull.

pd : i try 1:1 vga, 4:3 ntsc 525,16:9 but nothing happens, something is missing. thx again

  2. well, vcd only lets you have permanent subs (subs in the video stream)
you must «mux» subs with avi file using virtualdub or submux (depending the format of subs). i only try virtualdub and it works.
then convert the avi file (with subs) and encode to vcd in Tmpenc

  3. Use CD-RW, you won't burn useless coasters when you try things. Just erase & redo.
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'
