I create slideshows using Proshowgold and then I want to publish them as flash in my blogs. Proshow produces 3 files namely a flash object, a flv file and an html fle. Google blogs do not accept flash files. It is possible to upload the flash file to googlepages and put the html in the blog. In this way I managed to publish 2 videos created using Wax and Wink. Now I try to publish the slide show flash file, the clip appears but does not play. In one case I also uploaded the accompanying flv file and the flash file played. But this is not a valid solution because the flv file is generally larger than 10 MB and is not accepted. I thought of making the flv smaller using Riva encoder. But here sometimes it works and sometimes doesn't. First question: should the flash and flv files always be kept together for the flash file to play? Secondly, are there certain rules to be respected when decreasing the size of the flv file. Thanks for helping.

Yep, you must upload both the flv and flash.
If you want smaller file size use lower video bitrate. Check if you can set the video bitrate or any quality settings in Proshow and lower it. You can also reconvert FLV using SUPER. Or convert to mp4(with h264 and aac) using xvid4psp or avidemux, it is supported by flash.
