help .. i tried a range fo hacks on my stand alone dvd player ( after drinks ) and have now locked up the player so it says " no disk " to everything i put in !!! i can now play nudda ..
bottom line is i need to reverse what i have done !!
everything i did was via the remote and involved opening/closing of the draw and punching in various numbers !!
please help dave

Do you have a manual ?, there should be a manufactures "Reset" If not go though what you did before and see if there's a change.

Have you tried switching the power on and off

regards lenoxx mp3 dvd 725b tried the manufactures default sets and the on / off thing ... nudda .. and i have no idea what number format i punched in so i cant really reverse what i did .. cheers king john

i had a sony dvp-325 dvd player but broke it because i accessed the service menus and "disconnected the disc drive" while hoping it would make the player multiregion. do what i did- bring it back to where you bought and demand it gets repaired- or ask for a new one! if you can't bring it back, call the manufacturer's customer help line. oh, and whats happening in neighbours at the moment? you're ahead of us!

thinking its time i upgraded to a twin lazer dvd guys !!
they are viewing the vcd's better than mine was anyway according to friends !!
regards neighbours .. hmmm can't really say i watch it .. sorry about that !
