I'va made soooooo many vcds using TMPGEnc, and I use Kwag's template, and load the d2v file into the video source. I sit down today, and it says "Unsupported"

WTF? How could this happen if I did absolutely NOTHING to my machine?

  2. This is probably not what happened to you, but I thought I'd say it anyway because it happened to me once. I was running out of room on my hard drive and I thoughtlessly deleted the vob files for the dvd I was converting. Yeah, it sounds really dumb, but sometimes when u get errors u never had before, its because u made a mistake.

If that is not the case, make sure that Direct Show Multimedia file reader is at the top in the VFAPI plug-in on the environmental setting.

  3. this also happens when the .d2v file can't find the pointer to the source files (VOB files for ex) or like you said, your drives ran out of space. if you move your files around AFTER you've created the .d2v file, i will give you that error. hopefully this is what happened....if not, i don't know....

  5. kewl, thought so just think of the .d2v file as a pointer or translation to your source. so if you move the source, the pointer is invalid as well
