Hi, I've tried capturing in ATI MMC 7.6 with many formats and settings and everytime the captured video loops infinitely after 2 seconds or so. Any idea as to why? I've downloaded the latest video driver from ATI and I've had no hardware or software problems of any kind up to this problem. I did a fresh install of XP prior to this. My video source is VCR with a S-video connection (S-video on VCR to the S-video on ATI adapter)
My system:
- AMD Duron 1 GHz
- 512 RAM
- 40 GB harddisk
- ECS K7S5A motherboard
- Windows XP
I can provide more info if needed.
Thanks for the help,
Ryan

I answered my own question: the looping is ATI's piracy mechanism. I tried VirtualDub as well and the captured video came out green and another post gave the reason.
Thanks
