    And NO you cannot play backups unless your console is 'modded' or use a 'boot disk'

    isobuster could do it, if it wanted to. LOL. Google is always your friend.

    Backups would not work on a PS2 unless it is modded, and the disc is the right one (i.e. brand). If you buy cheap discs, they wouldn't work.

    I've always just used DVD Decrypter, rip to an ISO, burn back at 2x

    Use -r (old ps2, new ones either format)
    Write at 4x to start.
    PS2 games are not copy protected, copy with any copy software. Double layer disk games might require a patch or something.
