  1. Every time i try to load a div3 or div4 .avi file onto tmpgenc, it says file unsupported. I tried to fix the problem by changing the enviromental settings, but nothing worked. If Tmpgenc just doesn't accept these files, is there any program or way i can convert these to .mpeg??

    Thanks a lot!

  2. Download VDub and actually find out if it really is Divx 3 or 4. You amy think they are, but in actuality they aren't.

File > File INformatoin to get all the attributres.
If it isn't, then re-encode them. I've had no problems with Divx 4 files in Tmpgenc

  3. Flava, all you need to do is install the DivX 3.11 and the 4.12 codec. That'll fix your problem You probably play all your DivX with DivX 5. Encoders don't use DivX 5 to decode the DivX files. They use the original codecs.

    What is a DivX3, DivX4 ?

Are you talking about the Microsoft Mpeg 4, v2,3,4 ?

If you are then find "Mpeg4 Codec.exe" and install that.
