    hello to all
    adding svcd2dvd to a new laptop with vista
    all starts to load ok then it ask to add name ( at least 8 digits )
    no matter what i put in screen flashes but wont take/work
    when i restart proggy it will grab a new reg key but wont take any name i put in
    any ideas how to fix this

    Are you running the program as administrator? Did you install it somewhere other than 'program files'?

    ran as administrator and yes its in program files

    As you have vista - can you take a look at this thread about installation and Vista issues?

    got it going ! i think the trick was to make a sep file folder and dont let it default to - program file folder
