what is the difference between DYNAMIC CONTRAST RATIO and normal CONTRAST RATIO?
I see DYNAMIC means the contrast over time? but how does that work?

It's mostly a cheat. They modulate the backlight brightness to help dark scenes. Some modulate the full screen, others light regions of the picture. There is no standard for measuring "dynamic contrast" so each company invents a way to max his spec.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
