I am brand new into video capture, and trying to get my head around it all! I am capturing from VHS using VirtualDub (multisegmented capture - 3800MB per segment), but on the 2nd segement and every susequent one after that, the audio disappears off and on. If you play (using media player) from the start to the end of each file it is fine, but if you FF to certain positions, the audio is gone.
It's not the video tape, cos it does it with every tape I've tried. I've ticked all the "align audio and video" places I can find. Any suggestions???
System
PIII 933
384MB Ram
40G 7200rpm HDD
Bt848 based capture card
CPU resourse during capture 25-30%
