Has anyone tried burning a 6.5gig of HD movie (MKV format) on a DL DVD? Is it worth the while?

Just burn the MKV file on a DVD? I think the DVD UDF file size limit is 4 GB so it wont work that well without cutting it.
Or do you want to convert to DVD-Video or some other format?
This is no DVD backup. Moving you. -
I think I will burn it on a DL DVD and see how it goes. Thanks for the quick response.
