    Not a total newbie, but got a question.

    Can I burn .avi files? I have Nero, but only the demo. Can I make my .avi files to a vcd????

    If the demo version of Nero is anything like the LE version of most DVD/VCD authoring softwares, you probably can't. You'lll need to first convert those AVIs to "White Book" standard MPEG-1s. Most recent low-end nonlinear editing softwares like Ulead VideoStudio 5.0, Pinnacle Studio 7.0 and MGI VideoWave can do this for you.
