  1. I am trying to convert a 2.05gb size wav file into ac3 format. I have tried ffmpeg and TMPGEnc AC-3 Plugin and both cannot convert the file. Anyone have any programs or ideas on how to achieve my goal.

Aften with either AftenGUI or EncWav2AC3
    Ffmpeggui
    Besweet

When you say these other programs cannot convert the file, what happens when you try ?

Ffmpeggui gives an error "TProgress Bar out of range"
TMPGEnc AC-3 does not do anything. I hit convert and it does not even attempt to convert the file.

It could be the size. Aften should be able to convert it with this syntax

    aften.exe -acmod 7 -pad 0 -readtoeof 1 -v 0 -b 384 YourWAVFile.WAV Output.AC3

    Yes

I split the file into two parts and I could convert both of those to ac3. I am trying DAudioK right now, so far no problems.

DAudioK is a front-end to Quenc when encoding to AC3.
