opening mpeg causes error:file number1 has invalid format

i have two mpeg files (svcd), but when i try to open them with windvd it says: the file number1 has invalid format.

i tried to check the frames in dvd2avi, they are ok and i can watch them
29.970 fps, 4:3 screen ratio

how can i fix them? im pretty sure the files are watchable.. probably just some small error somewhere

you can try and re-encode them,i have done this with disc2 and disc three of spiderman and it worked! convert>dvdtoavi in the convert section. good luck!
