Are there any potential problems with putting files on a DVD disc other than the DVD Video_TS and Audio_TS files? I want to put together a disc that autoruns on a PC to an HTML file with links on it to pictures, forms etc. that are in folders on the disc. One of the links on the HTML page would launch the DVD video on the same disc. If the disc is inserted into a DVD player, it should play the DVD in a normal manner. Of course all the files associated with the HTML file would not be visible or accessible on the DVD player.

As long as the data's not in the VIDEO_TS folder, you can put anything you want in there. I don't think any set top DVD players would even notice.

On a computer, you might have to turn off DVD autoplay or the DVD might automatically start.

I use short folder names like XTRA_FLS, XTRA_NFO or XTRA_ART and it is shown in the last line when viewed in any file browser on PC (by default files/folders are sorted in alphabetical order).
