From the beginning, my $27 GPX CD player "hickups" 5-10 times per disk, every sound pause lasts 1-3 seconds. That never happens with commercial CDs, only with self-made MP3. The same MP3 play pefectly on $150 Panasonic player.
Is that problem easyly fixable?

Cheap players don't read discs as well as expensive players. Not all discs are compatible with all players. If the bitrate is too high or too low the player may have issues with it. If this is happening a lot then I suspect the player is the issue and should be replaced with something more reliable. Preferably something solid state.

Yeah the same thing happens to my piece of crap. I usually have to wack it with something. Its has the exact problem, only commercial disks not burned.
