    Hi .
I'm just looking for some help. I'm using 4.5GB blank DVDs discs and trying to burn some videos to them. The videos are AVI files, and each video is about 26 MB. The total file size comes to 312 MB, so I thought that should be enough on a 4.5GB disc. However it's always way over.

I use Sonic MyDVD Version 5.3. I'm not 100% sure how to compress the videos and AVI seems like the smallest video type that I could use, so I'm stuck.

Any help is really appreciated and sorry if this sounds like a really stupid question.

    Thanks

The bitrate must be set to like 25,000+ lol.

Just play around with the bitrate. Try to get the highest number possible without having the file size larger than the DVD.

Hi thanks for posting. However I've tried lowering the Bitrate to as low as 85 kbps but when I add it to the Sonic My DVD it still takes up as much room as the high bitrate video.
Is there a smaller video format i could convert it to?
I really have no idea what to do?

I should probably add that these files have been converted from FLV to AVI.
