I have a couple AVI's that spit out hundreds of errors when trying to encode to DVD with mpeg2enc, but they play fine with VLC. I tried to encode with ffmpeg instead, but it only produced an mpg file (even with elementary streams turned on) which I then can't apply a 3:2 pulldown to. When I demuxed the mpg I got more errors. When I tried to use the 'fix' tool, the resulting AVI looked screwed up like the keyframes were erased. Here is the log for one ....

OK, so far it looks like the fix for this problem is to use the "decode with quicktime" option.
