Hello all! I have encoded a divx rip to mpg2. This took 19 hours to complete. Now that the conversion is complete, the resulting mpg2 is 'jumpy' and out of sync! I have tried to mux/demux with tmpgenc and with mpeg corrector to no avail. Can someone help me on this?

chances are your going to have to re-encode the file
you didn't really provide enough info for me to suggest anything as I don't know what you encoded it with - or what settings you used
also for future reference - always encode about a minute of a movie then see how it's coming out before committing to 19 hours - I've been there myself and I know how frustrating it can be to wait so long only to have bad resultsyour pal,

You have to be specific so we can analyze your problem.
1.) What encoder did you use?
2.) What template/settings did you use?
3.) What did you burn it with?
If you answer these then your problem will be more easily assesed.

OK. sorry for not suppling enough info but i have discovered the problem was the mpeg-2 codec for windows media player! I just downloaded the WinDVD and use the codec from WinDVD. All is fine now. Thanks to all
