  2. I have been using mine for 6 months now, It has good points and bad points , . Ads support is fairly good to most companies I have dealt with, They are always improving their software with free downloads, They have just come out with direct capture to Mydvd 3.5 waiting for it in the mail now,

What I want is simply to create VCD's from my older VHS tapes. I have an ATI capture card, however, ATI adds somekind of padding to the data that makes it pretty much incompatible with any MPEG encoder (Ligos in my situation)

Would you reccomend the ADS for this type of project.

    My specs:
    900MGHZ processor
    256MB RAM
    40GB 7200 RPM hard drive
    windows ME

    Thanks,
    Allan

  4. I have made several vcd's just capture them and burn them with nero, they all play well in my apex dvd players. The quailty is not as good as the dvd capture setting but seems like just as good as vhs is . I haven't tried any other burning software with vcd's other than nero. I have a pentium 4 1.7 g so I can't comment on your specs, I make mostly dvd's now . go to the ezboard forum and you can read up on all the comments by users of this devicehttp://pub9.ezboard.com/fpyro1394frm
