Hey guys....I just downloaded the spiderman centropy version which comes in 3 mpeg-2 files......my dvd player doesn't read svcds so now I have to convert them into mpeg-1.....here's where the problem comes in...I put the mpeg header into the 1st mpeg by using tmpgenc's simple Mulitplex tool..but the other 2 show erros.....I tried using vcd helps guide to converting mpeg2tovcd.....that doesn't work either..there's no audio.....I'm all out of idea's....I have no idea what to do....so if someone has had the same problem and knows how to solve it can u plz reply....and if u know ur way around this problem plz don't hasitate to reply.....thx.....

    so you followed this www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm ?
    and after you have runned dvd2avi you should have got a .mpa file? try play it, do you hear anything ?

  6. Ok dude ur in luck, i just went throught the same thing with the centropy copy of Spiderman in SVCD, my DVD player wont play them either. So all i did was use TMPGEnc and entered the values to make a VCD from a SVCD and each one came out really good. I had three CD's as with the SVCD ones, but they were in VCD mode, they played fine in my DVD player and in my wifes nephews DVD player. I have burned about 3 copies of the VCD ones already without any problems.

    Try it with TMPGEnc and let me know how it works. It took me about 2 and half hours with each to convert to VCD. It works trust me.
