How to edit 3gp movie and make part slow motion help please

I have a 3gp video recorded on a mobile phone which I want to edit out a small piece of, make that part slow motion then edit it back into the movie. Does anyone know of some software that can do this?

I' try to decompress it to uncompressed or DV avi, edit, and lastly reencode to 3gp.

OK, will try, what would be a good program to decompress and do the editing? The quality of the file isn't brilliant to start with so would be nice to keep as much quality as possible.

No idea, quite frankly. Our convert section on "3GP to anything" comes up blank. Seems you're breaking new grounds with this project!

lol, OK sorted. I converted 3gp to avi using imtoo 3gp video converter. Then did the editing and slow motion part that I wanted in virtual dub. Then just edited it together and added titles and encoded to mp4 in samsung pc studio all ready for youtube
