  1. Hi,
My computer specs are as foloows:

    AMD Athlon 64 2800+
    512MB RAM 400FSB
    80GB SATA HDD

I have been using PPRO 1.5 for quite a long time and satisfactorily. Recently, I had to format my computer and reinstalled PPRO 1.5 again. After that whenever I try to export the edited video to Adobe Media Encoder and opt for VCD High Quality Encoding , it gives me asn error massege after 3-4% [of a 65min video] rendering is completed.
The error massege is as follows:

"Failed to Return the Video Frame, cancelling the process"

I encoded the same video within PPRO using Main Concept MPEG encoder 1.06, and it was rendered perfectly, though time taken was about 6hrs, which is abnormal for a 65min video encoded to VCD. Though I do not prefer to use 3rd party encoders.

I have reqired update KB886716 installed. And I have updated the integrated encoder PPRO to 1.1 according to Adobe FAQ.

None of these problems were there with my previous installation.

So could someone lease help me? And need that desparately.

    Thank you.

I also have exactly the same problem with Premiere Pro 1.5, although I am rendering to the standard Pal Widescreen format. The same error message pops up, but earlier into the process (uausally at only about 10 mins). I figured it may have something to do with memory, but that shouldn't be the case as I have 2Gb of RAM, 200Gb Free space on my hard drive and a 3.2GHz Dual Core Processor.

Can anyone else offer any possible explanations and or hints/tips?

    Thanks...

WHile I don't have an answer, there are other avenues of investigation and query that may prove fruitful:

    1) Adobe Product Support and any associated FAQ's on their site etc.

    2) www.wrigleyvideo.com/videotutorial - the forums their are dedicated to, among others, Adobe Premiere Pro and are frequented by very knowledgeable people.

If you find the answer, please post back and where you found it in case there are others also having this problem.

    Good luck!

Thanks for all the help guys. The Adobe website actually listed the exact problem as a known issue with dual core processors. There is a windows update patch that supposedly fixes the issue. When I installed the patch, it sort of fixed the problem - but then crashed later in the rendering process. This is probably just due to the fact that my project was so big (2 hrs).

In the end, I just chopped the project into 4 smaller ones, and rendered them separately (not ideal I know but my deadline was FAST approaching). I then imported the 4 avi files into a new project and then re-rendered. Cut a few corners I'm sure but got the job done.

Thanks for all the help as usual!
