  1. Hi
    I was wondering if there is any special player that is just meant for tv-out. so when iam watching movie i can use that player. which has video overlay settings built in. blah blah.
    i dont like the new vlc and wmp11. theyre very bugy.

    I use vlc full-screen via commandline (driven by a custom-written playlist creator app) on my media PC to a 68cm CRT TV with no complaints. I'm interested to know what you find buggy about it ?

    Maybe a htpc player like Media Portal or GBPVR.

  4. Just about every media player in windows supports video overlay. The only one I know of that doesn't is Apple's Quicktime Player.

    PowerDVD has flexible aspect ratio controls and auto sets the display card. VLC has many controls too but is more manual.
