Winfast TV Card

Hello everyone !!!

I have Leadtek Winfast 2000XP TV Card. oes anyone have
any experience with this card (capturing,TV,etc.). It doesn't work
in VirtualDub capture mode (at least i haven't succeed).

Hi jolly,

I have the same card as you, and I have found PowerVCR II Deluxe to be a great MPEG-1/2 capture program for it. I'd suggest getting that, first (if you're looking to buy PowerVCR II you can get it VERY cheap off ebay, like $10-15)

As far as capturing AVI I have yet to find one that works well for me. VirtualDUB doesn't work due to VFW incompatability, and the bundled Winfast TV software isn't the best, though it does work (with external codecs like Huffy to boot)

Anyone have any suggestions for good AVI capture program that doesn't require VFW drivers?

Have the same card, am using the Leadtek program to capture the video using Huffy codec, editing in Premiere (cutting out the adverts) and then frame serving to Tmpgnec.
Works great for me.
