  2. Does nobody know or want to have the playing time on the display of the DVD-player when playing the movie?

At the moment when I'm watching my SVCD I don't have a clue how long it is playing or still how long I have to go till the end of the cd...

I hope somebody can help me?

Use VCDEasy for burning and turn PBC off. My Philips DVD doesn't show the playing time when the disc uses PBC. If you don't want to reburn, just force PBC off on your player: insent disc, press stop when it starts to play and then press "1" on the remote->the player should start playing track 1 without PBC

  4. Hi thanks for the answer, but it didn't work.... I have a Philips DVD-player
so that would not be the problem for your solution.

The straingest thing is that I have a vcd burned two weeks ago, also with DVD Ulead, and that one is playing with playing time on chapter 1.
And the 15 cd's I burned after this one aren't giving any information about the time what is playing on my DVD-player...

    Really strainge..

But beside you, doesn't anybode cares about the playing time on the screen??

  5. I do, I don't know what is involved here. But all my VCD and SVCD disc behave like this on my DVD player:
    1) if I push PLAY after inserting the disk, the it shows only PBC PLAY
    2) if I push "1" button or the "NEXT" button then it shows the play time.

  7. No still not working...

But some movies burned in "1MPEG" (you see at the starting of the CD in the player) are showing playing time.

But an "3MPEG" aren't showing the time.. :'(

    I'm giving up the hope...
