    I am using NERO 5.5.8
    I wish to burn Mpeg into VCD.
    I have several files well exceeding 700 mb.
    I therefore would like to create CD1 and CD2.

    Is there any software doing so automatically ?

    Have no worries regarding space, you are perfectly in the safe zone and no need to split it in half, VideoCD has a diffrent calculation for file size, you can put 740mb of file on a 74min CDR, or 800mb on a 80min CDR.

    I would however recommand you use TSCV or VCDEasy to burn your MPG.
