    Hi,

    Anybody know how I can view just the odd or even fields of a frame? Any software that does this? I couldn't find anything, but I'm not sure if I'm searching for the right term.

    VLC with video deinterlace set to "discard".

    One use, this is a way to get 1080i MPeg2_TS streams to play as 540p on slower computers
