  1. I have a 700MB Divx AVI file that I want to burn to VCD, but I have to chop it up before I can get it to fit on 2 VCD's (if anyone has any ideas on how I don't have to do this, please let me know). However, when I split my perfectly audio synced original AVI file up, the audio gets out of sync. I've found alot of suggestions for how to correct this problem on this site, but my question is: Do I apply the "fixes" (such as offsetting the audio) before I cut the AVI, or do I apply the "fixes" to the already cut AVI? I would imagine that adjusting the audio in the already cut AVI would result in some lost audio when the files are put back together.

  2. If you use this guide it shows you to extract the audio with virtualdub and then shows you how to cut it in tmpgenc.
