I was authoring some mpg's that were svcd spec 480x480. I didnt get good results with tmpgenc so I tried Nero Vision. I had great results as opposed to my results from my tmpgenc mpeg1. But I cannot change the setting of format. Its just greyed out at mpeg2.

Does anyone know what I can do to trigger that dropdown menu to work.

On a sidenote: i was using mpeg svcd 480x480, encoded as 704 x 480 mpeg2. I was amazed at the quality when there was little movement in the video. But when there was alot of movement, the moving objects/persons seem to have horizontal lines on them.

1. I thought by stretching the resolution the overall quality would be worse. How come it was so good?

2. What setting or spec can change the horizonal lines thing. Even when I do frame by frame at a fast action scene. The objects have tiny lines striping through them. The whole thing sorts of blurs the whole picture when the action is going on.
