Hello, I'm putting all my downloaded tv shows onto VCD, and I found one that was ASF format.
In TMPGEnc I tried to convert it to a mpeg for vcd, but it was painfully slow and crashed at about 8 hours. (Probably not my processor, I can convert other files just fine)
I tried using AsfTools 2.30 to make it into an AVI, then convert that, but when I open the AVI in TMPGEnc, it just says it cannot be opened or is unsuported.
Any ideas for how I could get this one in the right format to put on a VCD?

use virtual dub version 1.3 (not the newer version)... make sure asf tools are installed... Also, it wouldnt hurt if you THOROUGHLY looked thru the HOW TO section the site...
