question on dvd shrink

i need help in answering a question for me i downloaded dvd shrink but when i went to open it my documents/administrater file popped up and said i cant open this with out creating another file, can i download it to another spot instead of documents folder??

Are you logged on as administrator or "user"? I'm not sure about shrink but some programs require that you are logged on as admin to install them. What did the pop-up warning say exactly?

I usually download to "My Documents" into a folder I created that I named "Downloads". You can download to just about any location you want but the file might be harder to find later. I like to keep things fairly simple myself. If you are not logged on as system administrator you might not have access to specific folders, so I would check the access rights (browse the folder with Windows Explorer) before trying to download to there.
