  1. Hi:
I'm new and would like some help.I have a Phillips CD-I player from a few years ago.It has VCD capibility. Can I burn movies with my computer CDRW and play them back on this machine? i have a couple of movies that i bought, and they only work on this machine not on the computer.Actually i don't even know how to burn a movie. What is involved? Thanks, would be kind of neat if i could use that machine and make my own movies.

  2. Read the articles on this site. What is VCD, and How To Author.

When you make your VCDs, make sure to use the CD-i application (else your CD-i player won't be able to play them) and use CD-R rather than CD-RW. CD-i players are based around a CD drive and most older ones cannot play CD-RW media.

    Regards.
