    hi... this is my first thread... anyways i have a question whenever i try to convert an avi file movie to mpg using tmpgenc 2.53 the movie will start encoding untill 99% and then a pop-up window pops up saying cannot write to tmpgenc.exe and also sometimes it say audio cannot encode or something similar... the movies i wanted to encode was i am sam,a walk to remeber and kiss of the dragon and all failed to encode... all of them would reach to 99% and then stop. could it be the movie itself or is it the program tmpegenc.

    ok people... problem is solved... i downloaded another version of i am sam it is a VCD format and i converted it back to NTSC and it is working... it seems that the version of i am sam i had b4 was messed up...

    thanx anyways mods you may take this off if u want

    ok... the problem just keep coming back... i have downloaded 13 ghosts and the encoding stops at 99% but when i encoded the sweetst thing it encoded perfect. and plus why do i get very bad quality after i encode.
