  1. Ok I have a problem I have tons of movies I want to backup but in some point into the movie (Usually towards the end) . These little blocks of various colors start appearing all over the screen which makes the video unwatchable, but the the big issue is that after this occurs the rest of the audio gets out of sync gradually. I'm not really sure why this is happening the files are AVI by the way. Is there some kind of EASY or not so easy procedure to corrut this thank you.

    Cheers

There is probably no way to correct the video, easy or otherwise. The file is likely corrupted and will stay that way. You 'might' be able to make the audio a little better. Start by dropping one of them into VirtualDub Mod and see if you can scan through it. You may be able to cut out the bad parts or corruption and save the rest of it. You can use the VDM feature of 'Scan video stream for errors' and find most of the problems. But the damaged parts may be beyond repair and it may end up being best to just get rid of them.
