  1. I accidently deleted some .mov files from my recycle bin. I managed to recover them, and most play fine, but some are damaged and Quicktime won't open them. Does any program exist that will repair them, or skip the damaged parts and play the rest.

I have done some searching here and also some googling and not really found anything helpful.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to view these files?

Thanks for any suggestions, and thanks to all who post here and take the time to make guides. They have really helped me.

  3. Well I have tried Vegas and Avid and they will not open the files. Haven't tried the others.

  4. Same problem.
10 bit BlackMagic MOV file that QT Pro or anything simply will not open.
How can I recover this - it's all there, but there appears to be a problem somewhere.
I cannot believe it's not fixable.....
