    Spruceup is a DVD authoring software - not VCD authoring. Checkout the tool section of this website for VCD authoring tools.

    You can make a VCD-quality DVD(/miniDVD/cDVD) but why would you want to?

    Spruce Up allows you to fit 6 hours of VCD quality mpegs on a single 4.7gig blank, as oposed to 2 hours of mpeg2 @ 5000kbit/s.

    Just make sure you use 48khz audio or your file won't be compliant.

    Unlike DVDit! Spruce allows mpeg audio, and doesn't convert it to pcm.

    If your DVD is 6 hours long it takes about 10 hours to compile on a PIII 866.
